This is the main thing and it has other enhancing activities that are carried out to ensure that God is greatly worshiped.
The evangelical churches have been set up for the spread of the gospel. Tracing back to the early ages when the commissioning was done the disciples were given the mandate to go out and preach the gospel to the whole world. The preaching of the gospel involves reaching out to nations that have not heard or experienced the doings of God. They also teach about the love that God has for mankind to the point of giving up his only son. Through the gospel proclamation, it is expected that new disciples will be made and they will become followers of Christ. The making of disciples can be simply explained as winning souls into the Kingdom of God. For the people who accept Christ as their savior they are welcomed and disciple as it is supposed to be until they get to know how they can stand their grounds as new Christians. The evangelical churches also teach the Christians different ways that they can use to handle different emerging issues in their walk with Christ and also in their daily lives. These activities make the new believers feel accepted and willing to adhere to the requirements of the holy book of God.
These churches have also been set up to help in the fulfillment of the Christs’ mission of love, mercy, and justice in the whole world. Christ used to teach his disciples about the love that abounds and that he expected them to love their neighbors the same way they loved themselves. In the modern world, evangelical churches are preaching to different nations about how they can live with abounding love for one another. Christ also gave hope to those who were hopeless, those who thought that they were not any worthy to be called his children he accepted them and gave them the hope to live in him. Today the many evangelical churches that have been set up together with other Christian organizations help those who are lost, they provide a home for the homeless and the lost. Through this, the gospel is being spread in line with the mission of Christ. There is also a promotion of justice where these churches have set up ways in which they help the Christians understand their rights in Christ and also that what is right and just in the eyes of God.
